The DX-Cluster database

iCluster was my first App on the App Store in 2009 and is now available on three different platforms, including Windows Phone 8 and Mac.
iCluster is an App for HAM, SWL (Short wave radio listeners) or for everybody who wants to know, what’s going on on the amateur radio frequencies.
This App is connecting the so called international DX-Cluster database in realtime. The results are analyzed and displayed in an easy to read overview.
Individual filters and alarms
The content can be filtered by frequency (e.g. 80m, 40m etc.) or mode (CW = Morse, Beakon or digital modes). Shortwave up to VHF frequencies are supported (from 160m to 6m and 70cm).
Detailed spotter and call information
Calls (the callsign of the operators) will be decoded automatically by the App. This allows even inexperienced users to know the countries of the operators.
Spotter and caller location can be viewed on a map. This information is provided by QRZ.com which requires a registration.
Individual cluster server settings
The app comes with many pre-defined clusters so you can start using the app without any additional configuration. However, if you like to use your own cluster server, you can select three different server types (Web, Telnet or Skimmer) server and maintain the necessary information to let iCluster connect to your preferred DX-Cluster server.
Regardless of whether you are registered at QRZ.com, iCluser integrates QRZ.com to show detailed information provided by HAMs on QRZ.com. If you are a registered member of QRZ.com and even have a database plan, you can even see more information.
